Our Vision

We aspire to deliver high quality Early Learning and Childcare which is accessible and affordable for all children and families in order to improve the outcomes for children. We aim to provide stimulating opportunities and experiences for all of our children which will support learning and development in a caring and nurturing setting, whilst always seeking to improve our practice on our journey to excellence.


Our Aims

1. Provide a safe, stimulating, caring environment underpinned by , Building the Ambition and Curriculum for Excellence in which children can develop and learn through play indoors and out.

2. Provide a learning environment in which all of our children have time and the opportunity to play and develop as creative individuals with a love of learning, which encourages every child to be safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and involved.

3. Encourage links with local schools and local community organisations.

4. Provide a setting in which inclusion and diversity is embraced and celebrated, where families are recognised as full and active participants.

5.Promote positive behaviour at all times by encouraging children to respect others and their surroundings.

6. Encourage parental involvement in all areas of their child's development by providing a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

7. Provide on-going progress reports and ensure staff are always available to discuss any issues or concerns parents may have.

8. Promote healthy living to include healthy eating, dental care and exercise.

9. To participate in self- evaluation, in line with Building the Ambition,Birth to Three, CFE  and How Good Is Our Early Learning and Childcare, self-evaluation guides, designed to assist us in our on-going development.

10. Our staff are well qualified and will continue to attend appropriate training to ensure their knowledge and skills are developing with the needs of the children and centre.
